The past has harbored guilt and fear for Denali Deveraux, and she's beginning to think that her attempts to understand her beginnings may be forever shrouded in mystery. Her grandfather has manipulated her life. And her aunts -- the only ones who may possess the truth -- are under the tyrant's control too. Her quest to learn the truth brings her to Dallas where her work for the family design business teams her up with Michael Copeland, a man whose eyes reveal pain.
