The New Revised Standard Version of the Bible is a complete and thorough revision of the Revised Standard Version. First published in 1989, the NRSV incorporates the latest modern biblical knowledge with accurate, up-to-date English. One significant feature is the use of common-gender words, instead of masculine ones, where the intention of the ancient texts is clear. The Standard Edition features helpful text sub-headings and double-column text with footnotes, printed on Bible paper. This edition has already proved popular as a hardback Pew Bible and now comes in a choice of black and burgundy leather.
