Plot

This dictionary is a text about meaning and about beginner students' access to the language of key academic disciplines which make up human and social studies. It is also a text about listening to lanugage and learning to use this text as reference to engage with other texts. As an interdisciplinary resource, it is therefore different from ordinary language dictionaries. It is constructed in such a way that concepts are cross-referenced in order to illustrate the interrelationship between concepts and the networks of ideas through which knowledge and understanding are developed.
