Plot

Steve Biko was only 30 years old when he was detained and killed, and his prime role was that of student leader and political activist. His actual writings were largely confined to journal articles and to often unsigned pieces in the bulletins of the South African Students' Organisation where his column 'I write what I like' appeared under the pseudonym "Frank Talk". This book includes the most important of these writings, as well as a collection of Biko's words, drawn from his testimony in the SASO/BPC trial and a variety of significant interviews and letters.
