The true purpose of Christian education is to prepare young people for a complete life under the lordship of Jesus Christ. Reclaiming the Future of Christian Education is a walk through the philosophical and cultural history of education that emphasizes the goal of Christian schooling. It is a call, and for some perhaps a wake-up call, to affirm in the teaching-learning process the centrality and validity of God and Truth. The theme pursues the intentional conveying of ideas that should become the active components of the conscious thought life of the Christian student.
