SYS GEN BRU
The late F.F. Bruce has exercised a profound influence upon countless people through his books. He served for several years as editor of The New International Commentary on the New Testament, for which he wrote three volumes, and was author of a number of books, including Paul: Apostle of the Free Spirit and The Spreading Flame. He was Rylands Professor of Biblical Criticism and Exegesis at the University of Manchester until his death in 1990. The Message of the New Testament illustrates the unity and diversity of the biblical witness with the lucidity of style, breadth of knowledge and clarity of thought characteristic of the author. The aim of the Biblical Classics Library is to make available at the lowest prices new editions of classic titles by well-known scholars. There is a particular emphasis on making these books affordable to Eastern Europe and the Two-Thirds World.
