As the Zeitgeist of the 1960s, Simon and Garfunkel (Paul Simon, Art Garfunkel) represented the poetic troubadours of the age. After falling out and pursuing their own single careers, they joined together again, reconciled at long last, older and wiser in 2004, in a parallel to their famous Central Park concert decades earlier. Providing the audience with their classic hits like “I am a Rock” and “Bridge Over Troubled Waters,” they also give audiences songs like “Mrs. Robinson,” to whet the crowd’s nostalgia. Making another rare and surprising appearance is another musical duo, lost for many years, the Everly Brothers (Don Everly, Phil Everly), whose vocalizations preceded Simon and Garfunkel, but whose spirit is shared.
