In this book, Dr. Michael Greenwood presents an in-depth discussion on self-healing techniques with an emphasis on the importance of intention in the healing process. He uses current views of ancient wisdom and his extensive experience of working with patients to develop an integral philosophy of health and illness. Dr. Greenwood is a teacher of East-West medicine at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Victoria, British Columbia, is medical director of the Victoria Pain Clinic, and practised family medicine in Victoria for many years. He received his medical training at Cambridge University and St. Mary's Hospital, London, England. He is the author of the book Braving the Void: Journeys into Healing and co-author of the best-selling book Paradox and Healing: Medicine, Mythology and Transformation.
