This is the first major text presenting an overview of osteopathic principles and practice for both students and practitioners. The innovative text, written by the academic and clinical leaders in the profession, and endorsed by the American Osteopathic Association, presents an up-to-date, multidisciplinary overview of American-oriented osteopathic philosophy and principles with examples of clinical perspectives from a wide variety of disciplines. Eleven sections and 84 chapters are designed as subject overviews for pre-clinical osteopathic medical students. Each section is introduced with an editorial perspective from the section editor.
