Plot

Emily Davis lived in a wooded area on a lake shore in northwestern Wisconsin, with her husband, Robert. Always interested in nature, they were surprised to discover that a doe and her twin white fawns were eating at their private feeding station in the spring of 1984. Not true albino deer, the white twins were named Nip and Tuck. Nip and Tuck continued to feed at the station, bringing their offspring each spring for the next twelve years. As the years pass, Emily describes the deer and other animals that inhabit their property, the weather, and their neighbors around the lake.
