Superman has been acting strangely. Moments after awakening at his Fortress of Solitude in Ecuador, he's confronted by the Justice League with human blood on his hands. He tries to recount the fight he was just in, but the memories are difficult to grasp... it wasn't Brainiac, it was Darkseid that he saw kill Lois! The reality of his actions, however, are far more grave than he can recall.
