Having once more left his native Cimmeria, Conan seeks the familiar life of a sellsword. He's been watching mercenary captain Amalric the Lion, trying to decide if he's worth serving under. Making his judgment, he plunges into battle to demonstrate his worth.
But far to the South, the actions of a thief in robbing a forbidden tomb set the unknowing Cimmerian on a new path.
