The articles contained in this booklet formed originally the subject of a series of weekly talks in the English boradcasts of Kol Zion Lagolah, the readio station of the World zionist organization, Jerusalem. This corrected second edition has been enlarged for the sake of completeness to include four additional articles, setting out, in brief, the salient features of the historic development and significance in Jewish life of the Synagogue, the Siddur, the Shabbat, and Yom HaAtzmaut along with the Festivals and Fasts.
