Plot

The discovery of the ancient Dead Sea Scrolls in 1947 was the beginnong of a remarkable archaeolgical adventure. Since that time, a number of new manuscripts has come to light in a cave then unexplored. Wilson has interviewed many scholars who have been studying them. He includes some description of the Middle East as it is today and of the events which are taking place there where the ancient past and the present seem so intimately bound up together.
