What Is Man

Plot

Man is a mystery. What he admits no single solution or scientific answer. He is the very question he is asking, the riddle he would unravel. Man's nature is wondrous, complex, infintely mysterious. He images G-d, the Supreme Mystery.

Accordingly, our investigation of Jewish sources presented here can only open up the question of what man is. OUr only goal is by the very probing to make that question more vivid. Hopefully, our study will make us less dogmatic about our own character and more eager to respons to the mystery of man as it is manifest in our own lives.
