This is an eye-witness report of the new State of Israel which the author visited twice. With the aid of an Israeli press card, he was permitted to interview leaders of the government, mayors, farmers, pioneers, attend the Knesset sessions, schools in seesion, etc. Speaking Heberew flently, he was able to catch the various nuances of life, hard and humorous. His portrayal of the daily scenes is realitsic inspiring and informative.
