This book, so conscientiously written by two most devoted and dedicated members, has to do with "doing justly," with the work of righteousness, which alone can bring peace to the invidiual human soul and to humanity as a whole. It not only unequivocally establishes the inescapable moral mandate of Judaism to carry the message of Israel into the throughways and byways of life, to apply the prophetic precepts to the market place, to mine and mill, to street and slum, to factory and farm, but in additon, offers a concrete guide and tangible aids whereby each synagogue and every member thereof might become a true and living Temple of the Lord.
