Plot

In theater, there is nothing that demands such utter tenacity, such faithful, even relentless courage, such umcompromising zeal and ever present faith than the Jewish Teatre. Because where theater demands total artistic absorption and integrity, the Jewish Teheaer, whether Yiddish or Hebrew, demands in additon: wholehearted, loving identitifcation with a people-Am Yisroel; total immersion in a Jewish culture, and unceasing, idealogically unswerving, stubburn-holding fast to a language, Yiddish or Hebrew-as being the carriers of the culture and expresssive of the essence of the people.
