While walking in the forest with his best friend Segawa Tetsuro, Fukamachi Sho, a Japanese student, accidentally discovers an ancient alien weapon known as a 'Guyver Unit.'
The Guyver Unit consists of a symbiotic bio-boosted armor, created by aliens that visited earth centuries ago. The insidious biotech corporation known as Chronos has kept it secret for years. Now that Sho has found it, he and his friends are hunted by Chronos' monstrous creatures as the corporation seeks the return of the Guyver for their twisted experiments.
When an unknown man escapes with a mysterious box it changes Sho's life forever!
Sho must use the Guyver unit to protect his friend from prying Zoanoids.
Sho investigates the scene at Mt. Narisawa and must face off against Lisker and Zoanoid soldiers.
Makishima seige Sho's school, so Sho must activate the Guyver unit and fend off more Zoanoids including the new "Hyper-Zoanoid".
Sho and Tatsuro are being hunted down by increasingly fiercer Zoanoids after they find out about the cover-up at their school.
Guyot introduces his new hyper-zoanoid, the anti-Guyver ENZYME, and his plans to capture Guyver I.
Guyver I is destroyed... or is it?
Guyver I continues to destroy Cronos Japan. When Tetsuro encounters Guyver I, he helps Sho regain control. Meanwhile Guyver III and Guyver II fight it out.
Sho believes he might not be himself. A new Hyper-Zoanoid appears.
Chronos abducts those close to Sho and he must battle the Lost Numbers unit.

Agito reveals himself as Guyver III when he saves Sho's friends from the Chronos base.
Sho's father is transformed and Sho is forced to do battle with him.
Sho must fight off the Zoanoid attack without the help of the Guyver unit.
Guyver III saves the day as Sho and Mizuki escape through a town overrun by Zoanoids.
Murakami is using an Advent ship to heal himself, with strange results. Everyone is reunited safely.
Murakami reveals that he only has one transformation left before meeting his fate causing Mizuki to worry about Sho's fate.

Sho and Agito make their way into the relic and learn more about the Guyver units' origin.
Guyot is still on the run, with Alkenphel following closely. Alkenphel is able to deflect his attacks but Guyot has one last trick up his sleeve.
The rest of the twelve Zoalords appear on top of Mt. Minakami. Guyot is using his Black Hole attack against Alkenphel and is able to get him sucked in.
Murakami and Zoalord Guyot go at it. It seems that Murakami was able to inflict a deal of damage on Guyot, but wasn't enough to finish him.
Some time has past since the Mt. Minakami incident. X-day has already taken place, leaving Chronos the rulers of the world.
Chronos scientists are seen with a large cocoon-shaped object in their lab but are soon interupted by Guyver III!
Tetsuro and company notice Aptom's fight with Neo ZX-Tole and that Aptom is defending them. Guyver III arrives along with a large cocoon.
