Deutschland 83

Martin Rauch, a young NVA Soldier, shall be recruited to work as a spy in West Germany. His aunt Lenora Rauch, who also works for the NVA, convinces her supervisor to do so. Although Martin refuses he is transferred to West Germany.

Moritz first Mission takes places during a security conference in Bonn. While Martin enjoys the amenities of the West German Hotel, he has to hide bugs and faces a fight with an unknown enemy.

At a NATO conference in Brussels, Moritz gets his first Romeo assignment. He has to seduce secretary Linda Seiler to get secret information. He installs a microphone in Linda Seiler's desk and connects her directly to the NVA headquarter.

Martin's bug in Linda's desk is discovered by accident. Martin and Linda spend some quality time together, when he reveals his real identity to her.

Martin continues being careless about revealing his cover identity. Although he wants to quit, he changes his mind when his sick mother is helped by the Government.

Moritz doesn't want to work for the NVA any longer but when Tischbier tells him that his mother needs a kidney transplant he continues his mission. On the way to his mother in East Berlin he has to deliver a mysterious package.

Martin informs his agency that Able Archer is just a drill. He hence tries to prevent them from attacking but only gets threats in return so he's forced to blow his cover. Annett finds out about Martin and Yvonne.

Martin manages to cross the border to West Germany. He first confronts both Yvonne and Annett and then reports to HVA. Lenora continues to believe in Martin and tries to stop the attack.
