Azrael, Vol. 1

Jean Paul escapes from a burning building only to run into Batman who tasks him with finding out who he is and what the Order of St. Dumas has made him into so that Jean Paul can take control of his life. Batman provides him with his Azrael costume and the location of the Orders headquarters. Jean Paul quickly recruits Brian Bryan for his company and knowledge of psychology. They immediately leave for Die Eiskathedrale, the ice catherdral headquarters of the Order. Upon their arrival at a village nearby the cathedral they are attacked by the Orders agents whom Jean Paul goes into Azrael mode and soundly defeats only to be confronted by the new Azrael that Sister Lilhy and Brother Zoo have been training to replace Jean Paul with.
