Batman: Death and the Maidens

During World War 2, Ra's al Ghul allied himself with the Axis powers as a means to thin the global population... even though it meant the sacrifice of his daughter Nyssa and her children. To avenge herself, she has watched as Bruce Wayne systematically hunts down Ra's Lazarus Pits while despoiling the sites upon which he could create new ones. But this punishment is not enough. Now Nyssa has abducted Talia, and seeks to turn her against their father.

Bruce Wayne has taken the potion Ra's offered him in exchange for ceasing his destruction of the Lazarus Pits. Finding himself reunited with his Mother, he finds himself coming to grips once more with her death, as well as the life he has lived.
