The Joker's sniper feeds have all vanished to be replaced by a live feed of newscaster Angie Molina... with another ominous countdown timer. The detectives of the Major Crimes Unit have the Joker in custody, but he's refusing to share any useful information. Nearly out of time, and completely out of leads, Lt. Probson prepares to see if he can work the answer out of the Joker with a phone book.
To point the police in the right direction, Batman visits Commissioner Akins, pointing out that the main difference in Gotham since the police took the Joker into custody is that shoppers have returned to the stores to finish their last minute shopping.
But even apart from Batman's revelation, Chandler and Patton stumble onto the answer. With nowhere near enough time, they race off to rescue Molina.
