Ghost Rider has become Spook's lab rat and he intends to dissect GR to learn the secret behind his powers. Dan and Ghost Rider decide that the only way they can survive is to stop fighting each other and merge in mind body and spirit. The Spirit of Vengeance is unleashed and in his flight to escape, power to the facility is cut-off. Villains the likes of Scarecrow and Skinner are now free and only Ghost Rider and stop them.
