Deathstroke has murdered his faithful attache Wintergreen, and worse yet, as mounted his head on the wall as a trophy! Robin is determined to investigate claims that Superboy was cloned in part from Lex Luthor's DNA. Impulse and Beast Boy duel over who controls the remote. Wonder Girl debates whether there is even a place for her on this team. Then an explosion on Alcatraz Island draws the Titans' interest. They work to help the tourists and control the fire. Inside the old prison, Impulse slows for a minute to think, and is paralyzed by a dart from Deathstroke! He will be Deathstroke's message: kids shouldn't wear costumes. And the punctuation mark for that will be a ruined knee, the result of a a close range blast from Deathstroke's lance.
