Living History

I like thinking about how we bring ourselves- our opinions, prejudices, and memories-to everything we experience. That interaction is a distortion of the truth but it can also enhance the truth. It's part of the story. I think these small pieces of writing, inspired by the found photographs that accompany them, illustrate that idea nicely. These are my stories, but they only exist because of the messages I received from these sweet, haunting pictures. Endless inspiration in the junk shop.
