A variety of Superman have appeared to carry on the legacy. This issue introduces one of them. He claims to be the true Superman, returned from the dead, and is able to tell Lois things that were not a matter of public record, but he's much crueler, unhesitant to kill, and is required to wear a visor to protect his sensitive eyes from even the slightest light.
