Created under the direction of legendary game designer Yuji Naka, best known for creating the character Sonic the Hedgehog, Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg is a 3D platform game starring a young boy on a mission to save his kingdom from an evil ruler. The once magical land is on the brink of being enshrouded in complete darkness, so Billy Hatcher takes it upon himself to rescue his realm by overthrowing the tyrant king. Billy is no ordinary boy, however. The lad, through the use of a special suit, has the power to control the world's magical eggs. These eggs can be rolled along the ground to solve puzzles, fight enemies, and uncover secrets. Yet in order to accomplish these goals, players must learn to hatch the eggs at the right time and place. Each egg houses a specific type of creature that will help in the whimsical quest.
