Ribbit King players grab their favorite frogs and launch them, high through the air, toward a small and distant goal. The player who puts his or her frog in the hole with the fewest strokes wins. Featuring bright, colorful courses, humorous animations, and simple, super-deformed characters, Ribbit King's presentation promotes a lighthearted mood fitting for a game of "frog golf." Released for GameCube in Japan as Kero Kero King DX (the PS2 port is called Kero Kero King Super DX), this golf-influenced frog-flinging game offers ten distinct characters, and 20 levels set across five different game worlds. Players launch their frogs by placing them on a special stand and pounding a lever with a hammer. Frogs can be sent far and wide with this technique, but they don't seem to mind (too much).
