Description

Take the role of the great Julius Caesar himself to defend your rule and expand the Roman Empire. A encompassing strategy, balance of offense and defense, and effective tactics are required for victory and ultimate success. An uprising in Asia offers opportunity for conquest, but Rome must also remain protected against her enemies closer to home. Players must wisely plan attacks and maneuver forces to win battles against the armies of Persia, Egypt, and Arabia. The interface of Warrior of Rome II is reminiscent of other strategy war games (on home computers as well as consoles), offering an isometric view of a gridded map with iconic playing pieces. The storyline progresses via cut scenes and a variety of mini-games add to the ancient Roman flavor. A password feature allows players to save their campaigns between successful battles.
