Escaping an unwanted marriage, Lady Elizabeth Wellington flees England and seeks refuge in the home of her recently deceased friend, Muriel. Janie, Muriel's young daughter, believes Beth would be the perfect new wife for her father. But rugged rancher Garrett Steele doesn't want anything to do with the daughter of an English lord.
