Plot

Nineteen year old Zhang and his family scratch out an existence, with barely enough to eat, yet fear is always presnt that life could be much worse. Zhang's father doesn't show the expected respect for the newly departed leader, Kim 11-Sung, which could mean internment for the family in a work camp if his political view becomes known outside their meager walls.
Zhang chooses to flee from North Korea to China with his best friend and there is led to Christ. Does he dare return to his family and share his newly found faith?
