How Far Would You Go To Prove You Were Grown-up? Galen, a ten-year-old orphaned Philistine boy, wants nothing more than to be a man. Surely, if he becomes Goliath's shield bearer, he'll win the acceptance he desperately craves. But earning the giant's approval requires increasingly dangerous acts--like sneaking into the Israelite camp. Now Galen must even harm an Israelite to prove himself.
