Plot

Meet Jake and Carolyn Brighton. They look like a typical American couple with a typically rambunctious thirteen-year-old son. They live in a small town, abide by every law, pay their taxes on time, and work very hard and successfully to blend in with their surroundings. Then one day authorities discover who - or who the FBI posters say - they really are. Fourteen years ago their last name was Donovan, and according to their accusers, they slaughtered sixteen of their friends and touched off an eco-disaster of unprecedented proportions. Now they're at the top of America's most-wanted list, and the feds want them badly. To achieve salvation, not just for themselves but for their son, Travis, the couple must attempt the insane: elude a massive manhunt and revisit the original scene of the crime - the toxic hell that just may contain the evidence that will set them free.
