Terance James Bond is Britain's foremost bird illustrator, whose remarkable depictions of birds in their natural settings are both richly artistic and accurate to the last feather. For the first time, more than 20 of his paintings are reproduced here in large format on high-quality art paper. The subjects range from the humble sparrow to magnificent raptors such as the peregrine, and include all three of Britain's native woodpeckers. The accompanying texts describe the birds' habits and habitats.
