Plot

Finding herself adrift in a world she has ceased trying to understand, Phoenix Bay moves into the house and life of her best and oldest friend, Rennie Johnson, a gay man fighting his own private war against AIDS. Then Rennie's sister Cecile arrives, running from her own debilitating past. As this unlikely trio of friends is reunited after almost twenty years, each suffering a nearly overwhelming loss, they begin to build a family and find a home where they all, for the first time, finally belong.
