Plot

Paris in the springtime. G.B is plotting the caper of capers. Central to her scheme are her artist/lover Simone Franklin, an aging quartet of French feminists, and Monet's sunrise. At the same time, G.B is writing a novel in the form of a lawyer's deposition that lays bare the intimate story of Simone and her former lover Aggie Gretch. A series of startling depositions, both legal and illegal follows, as G.B's twin tales throw the reader more curves than the River Seine.
