Tandy Byers has a problem. Her name is Captain Tory Gordon, and shes investigating Tandys parents for murder. Shes also investigating Tandy...but for a far more personal reason.

A searing attraction to Tory and her parents strange behavior the day of the murder cause Tandy more than her fair share of anxiety. Snooping into the lives of people shes known for years doesnt exactly increase her comfort level, but shes determined to clear her parents names.

Tory is having a run of trouble as well. Too many suspects and a profound attraction to Tandy, who is by turns annoyingly meddlesome and totally irresistible, make the Grady murder one of Detective Gordons toughest cases yet.

Can Tory keep Tandy at arms length during the investigation possibly for her own safety and still expect her to warm Torys bed when the suspect is apprehended?
