Ninja Scroll
Amid a war between two rival ninja clans, the wandering swordsman Jubei Kibagami must protect a fabled artifact known as the "Dragon Stone" and its young guardian.
Shigure has a unlikely friend by her side named Rokai who is a Hiruko Ninja. Shigure gets captured by the Kimon Shu and Rokai is unable to protect her.
Jubei has to save Shigure, so he takes a ship to a different area of Japan. While traveling, he meets Yagyu Reyna, a samurai who is cold blooded and wants the Dragon Stone and also, Shigure. But there is also a killer on the ship as well.
Jubei's commitment to save Shigure pays off when he, Dakuan, and Tsubute execute a successful rescue mission. But something is wrong, and Shigure is acting strangely. The outcome of war may depend on Jubei finding out why.
Shigure's destiny is unveiled and she now has to walk the path of the Priestess of Light. Can she do it without Jubei?
