Preserving our Italian Heritage, published by the Sons of Italy Florida Foundation, is a collection of recipes that any Italian will have to own. Many recipes have been written down for the very first time. Here's the Easter wheat pie (and Easter meat pie) and the braciole; the ricotta pie (four versions), the pizzelle and the minestra you remember having as a child. This book is a second prize winner in the 1991 Tabasco Community Cookbook Award competition. It's in its 8th printing, with 82,500 books in print. Benefits scholarship fund and various charities.
