The Weekend Parent follows the stories of a cross section of 20 men and women who have had to adjust to unoccupied bedrooms and breakfasts alone. In this sensitively written book, the author stresses that although one kind of parenting may be over forever, a parent never ceases to be a parent. What is important is to discover the new role the non-custodial parent can play, and most importantly, how do they go about rebuilding their relationships with their children.
