Voices Of Aboriginal Women

This booklet is a joint project of the Native Women's Association of Canada and the Canadian Council on Social Development. It is divided into four sections: The Introduction - a descriptive overview of what it's like to be abused as an Aboriginal woman; Testamonials - from 5 women who have survived violence in their lives; Interview - with a drug and alcohol counsellor, as well as an Elder; New Directions - describes initiatives being developed to help family violence victims and offenders.
