Plot

Monique Lépine is a retired nurse and the mother of Marc Lépine, killer of the 14 women at the Ecole Polytechnique in Montréal. Monique Lépine has only ever spoken once publicly about the Montreal massacre. It was a televised interview in French with Harold Gagné, and occurred after the 2006 Dawson College shooting in Montreal. The book will be the first print story of her experience, told in full.

Harold Gagné holds a degree in political science, administration and management and has been working as a journalist for the French-language television station TVA for over two decades now. He has received several awards of excellence for his investigative reporting, including the prestigious Judith-Jasmin Prize bestowed by the Professional Federation of Quebec Journalists for his televised interview with Monique Lépine. Harold Gagné is also a regular contributor to Reader's Digest. This is his first book.
