It is a year later, and Selina has just given birth to a daughter, Helena. She has ceased operating as Catwoman; that role now belongs to Holly Robinson, who is investigating a theft when she is ambushed. But she recovers quickly and takes down the three thieves. One of them mentions a "film guy" before the police arrive. Not far away, Angle Man watches, noting that she seems off her game. Selina has taken the identity Irena Dubrovna (the lead actress in the 1942 version of Cat People) because Selina Kyle has too many enemies. Batman drops by after Slam Bradley takes Selina home. Helena will recieve a scholarship to wherever she wants to go. Oh, and he brought a bear. And he wants to talk about the new Catwoman. Selina believes the East End needs a protector. It needs Catwoman. And she's been well trained. Even as this conversation occurs, Holly, as Catwoman, discovers an angle. It's a trap by Angle Man, who believes she's the original Catwoman who screwed up his life. And he means to pay that back.
