JSA

After saving Black Canary from Obsidian's shadows at the end of last issue, he quickly does some first aid to keep her on her feet. Obsidian is torturing the JSAers he has control over with their fears, while gloats to Atom Smasher and Star-Spangled Kid. Ian Karkull shows up from the Shadowland with Sentinel and Jim Rice, and Obsidian begins to attack them, when Dr. Mid-Nite and Black Canary show up. They manage to free Star, Atom Smasher, Sentinel, Jim Rice, and Hawkgirl, but then have to flee. Obsidian then destroys Karkull, and starts to spread his shadow all over the globe.
