With Obsidian blanketing the world with his shadow, Sentinel flies up to take him on head to head. The remaining members of the JSA take on the member that are being controlled by Obsidian, managing to free them from his shadows. Sentinel blasts Obsidian with his flame, burning away his Shadow until he falls to the street. Once there he gets dragged into the Shadowland, trying to grab Sentinel to take with him. Jim Rice jumps in front of the blast, so he and Obsidian disappear together. The issue ends with Wildcat's hot soak getting interrupted by the Injustice Society dropping in.
