Thunderbolt relates how things became so desparate in the 5th Dimension, with Jakeem going crazy and gaining power when they arrived there. Mordru captures the JSA in Fate's tower easily, but his arrogance allows Sand to escape. The group in the 5th Dimension creates a plan to attack Jakeem and catch him by surprise, but are easily overpowered. Just as the members in Fate's tower are overpowered by Mordru when he recovers from Sand's surprise attack. Meanwhile, Hector and Lyta are still lost in the mountains and Hector is badly wounded by the creatures that attacked them.
