This book is written specifically for the emerging Art National Curriculum, aimed at students of Key Stage 4 and, while tackling the implications of the National Curriculum, it also addresses some of the key issues arising from the introduction of GCSE. For example, critical and historical studies are explored and developed throughout the material, as are opportunities for using computers. This text has been structured in order to make it accessible to students and teachers. It is presented in flexible units, each one exploring a specific topic.
