Solen stiger

During a party at a Japanese corporation, an American woman is found dead. Police detective Lt. Webster Smith (Wesley Snipes) is assigned the investigation, but on the way there he gets a call instructing him to pick up former Capt. John Connor (Sean Connery), an expert on Japanese Affairs. Arriving at the scene, Webster concludes that the evidence points to murder. Connor, however, thinks there is a lot more going on. As the investigation continues, there is indeed a lot more to it.
