Lucifer has abdicated the Throne of Hell (as described in Sandman); this has created opportunities for demons. The one that used to be Anton Arcane escapes Hell and decides to visit his relative, Abby Holland. Ya Ya Dupin warns Swamp Thing of the coming trouble, but how can he fight an enemy inside his daughter's body? Who has any number of old enemies at his beck and call, restored to a crude parody of life as zombies! Fortunately, Dupin can battle him on his ground, sparing Tefé physical harm. But when Dupin cannot overcome the demon, who can? Agony and Ecstasy, Hell's bounty hunters. And the Phantom Stranger, who owes Dupin a favor. But Arcane is merely made to flee, not destroyed or returned to Hell. No doubt one day he will return. And what grim and chilled parcel are two truck drivers moving from one Sunderland campus to another?
